Ricardo Duque

Ricardo Duque became the Vice President of North America Channels at Lexmark International, Inc. in January of 2014. From 2012 to 2014, he was Vice President of US Channels.

Mr. Duque’s specialty is building and managing world-class sales and marketing organizations for Fortune 500 companies. He has very strong business acumen and the unique ability to craft and execute a variety of sales and marketing strategies to establish market presence and increase revenue and profitability. He is a proven performer who moves easily from vision to strategy to execution and follow-through. Skillful at assembling and motivating diverse teams towards achieving specific goals, Mr. Duque has honed his interpersonal skills to adapt intuitively. He is a hands-on, inspiring leader who is committed, energetic, and proactive.

He has been very involved in his community and together with his children created a nonprofit: Kicking For Change (KFC) that collects soccer clothing and equipment to contribute to a FIFA sponsored program called “Football for Hope” that help disadvantaged kids stay away from the streets and gang violence. He also invested in a start up in Colombia together with a Dutch Investment Fund called ‘Annona’ and today generate more than 40 direct jobs and 75 indirect jobs at their company Biostevia based in Cali, Colombia.

Mr. Duque was Vice President of US Consumer Channels at Lexmark’s former Imaging Solutions Division (ISD) from July 2007 to December 2011, where he exceeded the expectations of Lexmark’s US partners pertaining to inkjet printers, all-in-one products, and related supplies and support including traditional retailers, e-commerce, and alternate distribution channels. From January 2006 to July 2007, Duque was General Manager of Global Business Development at ISD, where he provided Lexmark’s worldwide customers and partners with Inkjet printers, all-in-one product and related supplies. From August of 2000 (when he joined Lexmark) to December of 2005, Mr. Duque was Director of Latin America at ISD. In that role, he was solely responsible for developing and managing more than 33 Latin American countries.

Mr. Duque began his career with Colgate Palmolive in 1988 as a Product Manager for the Colgate brand. From there he went to Xerox Corporation as Marketing Director and General Manager of their Latin America North Region.

Mr. Duque holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Saint Bonaventure University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.
